I am a mother of twins who just turned 10. One boy one girl. My son was diagnosed with autism at the age of 4 when he started school. Both kids were evaluated for Special Ed resulting in my son being placed in a Life Skills class. His sister didn't qualify for Special Ed class and was placed in mainstream class despite the developmental delays and behavioral issues she had. In first grade they started her in a 504 program which didn't seem to help leaving me with no other choice but to have her repeat the 2nd grade. Though school has been a struggle for her she seemed to be managing ok. She was diagnosed with ADHD & bipolar but medications seemed to help her. Until the last 9 months. Wow! I have never seen anyone change so drastically for no apparent reason. She was becoming more difficult then her brother. School became a nightmare for her, her teacher, and classmates. She had no self control and started having constant meltdowns. Her brother's autism specialist who I meet with once a month stated to me that her teacher felt that she had asepergers. Her symptoms were dead on. So I requested she be evaluated for Special Ed again and they decided to do it for autism at the beginning of this school yr. So I had her evaluated this summer hoping to get a medical diagnosis while waiting for her school eval to start. We're still not done. I had her final appt yesterday with the 2nd specialist who specializes in kids with autism. Both drs are amazing but was shocked and lost with their diagnoses. What the hell is static encephalopathy and executive function? Never heard of either. She also has ADHD and a sever case of anxiety they both said. I have no idea where to start looking for resources and support. I know autism. This I've never even heard of. If anyone can help me with any info about this, I'd be so grateful. I'm really scared and worried about my baby. I just want to help her. Thanks
Medical diagnosis are just that, a name. We pay doctors for names. The point is that no matter what name they give it doctors do not and can not heal anything.
Were your children vaccinated? If they were probably your children are vaccine injured. Rather than placing blame where it should be. That is the vaccines. The medical establishment try to hide behind all sorts of exotic names which are designed to obfuscate the true cause of the problem.
Boys do tend to be more vulnerable to Autism than girls. But in fact Autism rates have gone up by thousands of percentages. In America the children being prescribed medications is about 3 in 10 for such things as ADHD and other cognitive problems.
I would suggest you do some reading about Mary Tocco. She is a vaccine safety advocate. I also have numerous sources about vaccines on my blog below. There have been non-pharmaceutical approaches to Autism, ADHD and Aspergens syndrom that have had effective results. Be sure to contact Mary Tocco for sources and guidance about that.
And for those readers who very much believe in the use of medicines and drugs I would urge you to read the information inserts that come with the vaccines and decide if you are still so sure about the medical drug model.
