Hello, I am 14 years post papillary cancer. I have gone through menopause in 2008. I have had a very difficult time since then regulating my tsh and T3 and T4. Past month it's been in normal range, but still expercing problems. Head MRI shows no abnormalties, My endocronogolist doesn't really know what else to do. Hee's a very kind DR. and the medical director of a large University pratice. He's getting ready to retire in about 5 years or so. I need a new up to date Dr. I live 2 hours from St. Louis MO. but go there often to se family. Any help as to what I might need other than synthroid? Diet, mineral balance, sometimes I take Zinc with metaltic taste in my mouth, learned this from another patient. HELP

Here are a few other simple things you can do:

2. Stop eating grains of any kind like: wheat, barley, rye and oats.
3. Do not eat starchy foods, bread, pasta, cereal, fruits and fruit juices, rice, potatoes, cooking oils,

5. Avoid foods that upset your digestion
6. Use up to 5 grams of vitamin C per day, use D, E, K2, B Complex in the best forms

8. Detox the body with coffee enemas
9. Check out the Budwig Diet
10. Do deep Diaphramatic Breathing and drink plenty of clean fresh non-fluorodated water
