Agricultural production in my country seems to be on the back burner of our politicians, while food imports are on the rise.  The cost of food imports are also on the rise.  Any ideas on what can citizens do to reverse this trend?

 Your politicians are crooked.  Stop buying their foods and grow your own.  Get some land and grow your own food.
