As a single parent wanting our children to get involved with school sport programs etc.  Its frustrating to see your own child,  (i am speaking for all parent in this situation).  to try out in a sport that they are interested in, in High School (gr. 8-10). But because they are good but not "good enough"they dont make the team.  What kind of message are we sending our children?  We say,  are kids are becoming lazy cause of tecnology and obesity is becoming an issue, but when they try to get involved in sports in school they are shunned, Cause they are not "good enough".  How can they get good if WE dont give them the chance to improve or excell.  For ex.  in Baseball when you are forming teams it goes A as the best, B second, and so on.  Well if there is enough to make another team then do so.  If not use these other students who want to play as spares or alternate.  They are not PRO players.  This is supposed to be about learning to play as a team etc. in these informative years.   My child had tried out for Volleyball in Gr. 8 and now gr.9, I will be surprised if she tries out in grade 10.    To see your child being deflated in a school sport when they are sooo... excited to try and get involved its heart breakin.  As a parent, all I can do is try to uplift her spirits and get her to keep trying.  Easier said than done.  So when we say, we need to get our kids active and involved, its B.S.!!!!   All you are looking for are pro players.  thats not what its all about.   Not all parents can go outside of school programs to get their children involved in sports, expecially for a single income parent.   I think we should really look at how we can get them involved in school sports/activiies even if you have to add another team.  We need to stop deflating our childrends egos when we are trying and asking them to get involved.

The problem goes well beyond sports.

May I also bring to your attention that it is the stated goal of the United Nations to destroy the family.  Many schools do not permit the kids to play, run, move and so on even in gym glass.  Instead, children and boys in particular have been targeted to make the fat, dumb and stupid by teaching them to lead sedintary lives in front of a computer or TV or XBox and not get out and do things.

I am a concerned parent too and we removed our children from high school because of this.  Now they attend a private home school that is Christian based and they run, swim, hike, play tennis and more instead of "Michael Jackson" dancing and calling that gym class.

Another point, in California they just passed a law forbiding the use of the term "Mother" and "Father".  Instead the parents and teachers must use the term "Partners".  Homo***uality is encouraged with children who wish to be considered boys or girls being allowed to use each other's bathrooms and lockerrooms.  Look it up.

Further also in California, boys can play on the girl's teams and girls can play on the boy's team.

To add further insult to our collective intelligence, the Gardisil (SPV) vaccine which has been found to harm and kill girls between 7 and 13 years old and is supposed to prevent cancer of the cervix due to a virus is now recommended for boys even though they do not have a cervix.

Finally, the White House and in Europe have proposed to teach *** education and homo***uality to 5 year olds.  Can you see what they are trying to do?  Don't take my word for it.  Do your own research.

Lastly, in Europe there are no signs on the doors of school bathrooms so that the bathrooms can be used by boys or girls.  Now you know why we removed our children.

Good luck
