I am not a Muslim. But I have total respect for Muslim people. I appreciate this kind of open discussion. We need to see more of it.
I am often in the Muslim community where I live and I have always been treated with respect and as a brother by Muslims. I know not everybody is good. But if there is a religion that can hold people to try to be the best they can to each other then I think that religion is worthy of my respect.
I do not know anything about breast feeding men. The real issue it seems to me is that women should not be alone in the presence of a man according to my limited understanding of that faith. I know that sometimes it is inconvenient to have such rules. But there is a wisdom in that rule.
If someone is of the Muslim faith then he must be willing to abide by not only the words of that religion but also abide by the meanings of that religion. The idea of trying to find a technical way around an inconvenient rule strikes me as a violation of that rule.
