Encouraging anonymous informers to post gun owner locations on internet

I read today that Goggle is encouraging persons to mark so-called dangerous sites in the US.  These presumably are places where persons who own firearms live, or work.   This cpractice could mark these places for criminals wanting to steal guns, and possibly indicate that unmarked places were less likely to contain persons who might defend themselves.

I'd like to know whether or not Goggle is encouraging such marking by anonymous persons?
