my son is estranged from his partner and they have 3 children aged 5, 18 months and 6 months old. he is currently back home with us and has made arrangements with CSA to pay maintenance and we have the 3 children here for 8 hours every saturday while he is home. we are currently receiving calls (some abusive and threatening) from his ex partner who is not happy that we will only have the children here for 8 hours a week and has threatened to go to court to make my son have them for more hours a week. as much as we love the grandchildren we are not prepared to do this and we need some clarity from a legal aspect to confirm whether this can be imposed upon us.
