Beloved brother

Unfortunately, you still think that you're a genius and everyone is stupid. You do not want to know the truth,

You just want to make others doubted in the oneness of the Trinity, by any way, even if you cheating and deception.

You read the verses, then you choose the second verse and deleted the important word "in earth" which explained all the verse. This is a shame that you do this. Then you started to ask sarcastically:

You said "I found the reference you quoted of John the Apostle. My Bible expresses it as follows:"For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three agree in one. So it doesn't seem that John was quite talking about the Trinity"

-----------------------------------------------

This is the correct verses: First Epistle of John

5 : 7 - "For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

5 : 8 - "And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one."

This is the answer : who bear witness in earth are three: the Spirit, the water, and the blood. The three are in one. That bear witness in earth:

= Now after the end of the work of redemption. Now the Holy Spirit does not come in the perspective of (a dove or tongues of fire). Father does not speak to bear witness to Christ from heaven. And son we can not see him by our physical eyes. But God's work of salvation which begins in the life of the believer baptism known for his baptism. It is the spirit and the water and blood. The three are in one = one is the body of Christ from which the flow of water and blood, and the Holy Spirit comes on the body of Christ to calculate the whole Church Day Baptism of Christ Baptist. Spirit now works in the water of baptism, and the power of the blood of Christ, baptism gives birth sons of God, a new creature. Anyone who felt how is strongly this new creation and its possibilities, he will realizes the salvific work of Christ, this force which is given by the baptism of the children of God attest to the fact that Christ is the Savior of the world by his own blood, and it's witness of the road set by God for eternal life.

= The death of the world.  In order to live to God the life of Christ. Baptism does not make sense without the presence of one of the three elements (water, blood and spirit). And the birth of water and the Spirit stipulated by Jesus Christ (John 5:3).

= Blood is the price paid by Christ In order to give us redemption "because you were ... redeemed with the precious" (1 Peter 1:18, 19).

= Water and the Spirit are the sign of baptism which is the means by which we might receive the benefits of this blood.  By baptism we are born births again of water and the Spirit.

The second question I did not understand it, you write  meaningless words, did not write the name of the Gospel or the verse number. Generally if you want to know go to the net and write verse, you will find the explanation.

These words are abusive so it seems to be time to draw this dialogue to an end. At no time were my comments meant to be sarcastic - that is not my way. Good day to you.

Hello my dear friend

I never mean what you said and I am very happy to discuss with you, but what made me resented is that you deliberately canceled important words from a verse center. That is all. So I hope that you be always fair.

You are welcome. Have a good day.

Some readers of this thread may wish to know the name of the big town that was under construction during the time of Jesus and therefore ought to have been mentioned in the gospel accounts of his life. It is Sepphoris, a Hellenistic city under Herod Antipas.

It has to be remembered that St. Paul, under duress in a personal crisis, revealed to members of the original Jerusalem Church (which included Jesus's family) that he was in fact a Roman citizen. The four gospel accounts were written to suit the religion that he had constructed and they give an unconvincing account of the period - which after all was under a Roman occupation although you would never know! Small wonder that the Roman Empire was ultimately willing to legitimise the new religion for it was quite pro-Roman.

If a person is reading what you said for the 1st. time, I am sure he would be completely confused.Trying to explain the Trinity is an exercise in futility. Why can't people understand  that God SENT his son to Earth to get a job done?

Even Jesus himself said that he came to earth to do NOT his own will but his Father's will? When he returned back to heaven, where he came from,God rewarded Jesus with things he NEVER possessed before! Read for yourselves at Philippians chapter 2. If he was Given things, I ask WHY? Didn't he have these before assuming he is 'supposed' to be God??? And, who could bestow these things on him? The answer is obvious: Someone GREATER than him did so-- in fact God did. Why, even Jesus HAS a God -like we all have. Jesus said so at 1 Cor. 15 Read from verse 4 to the end.

By the way, the Bible tells us the names of God and Jesus but it doesn't tell us the name of 'the Holy spirit'? Now if I were part of a so-called Trinity, I would INSIST that my name too, be written in the Bible.

"For there are three who bear witness, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood; and the three agree in one."

Were you aware that for many years now that scripture has been considered spurious?

When we discuss a subject of religious must use our minds, must have the evidence, and don't repeat the words of the ignorant people. You say "Were you aware that for many years now that scripture has been considered spurious?"

Who told you this myth? Do you have the evidence? Certainly no, you cannot have.

What is the text which has been distorted in the Bible? Can you tell me?

Who has distortive the Bible and in any language? And in any country?  In which year was the distortion?

Do you have the correct Bible?

Have they been collecting all the holy books of all the world and distort them, then distributed again to the people?

Do you know that the Bible was written in AD 70 and spread all over the world, and has been translated into all the languages of the world?

There is archaeological version of the Bible writtenin 130 AD in the British Museum in London is no different from the Bible now; you can go there and see it.

It is impossible to twist the Bible.

If you are looking for the knowledge, you have to read interpretations of the Gospel of Christian scholars. But you didn't read and didn't understand, then said some words you don’t know its meaning, then commented and said that "Trying to explain the Trinity is an exercise in futility".

- When you want to ask for a verse from Philippians, you must write a chapter number and verse number until I find it.

- According to verse which you wrote:  First Letter to the Corinthians 15 – 4: "And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures".

This verse and the rest of the verse speak of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus from the dead.

You said “I would INSIST that my name too, be written in the Bible."

If you cannot understand and do not want to read to understand this does not give you the right to make fun of any holy book and I think that this joke is very bad.

The original trinity started in Kemet ( The land of the Blacks)and it is OSA, Asar or Osirus , Aset or Isis, and their

son/sun Horus. African history is world history and all religions came out of Africa?? I do appreciate the research

and knowledge that Ex-huton presented using his own mind (pineal gland) and free from the process

of slavery that has been put in place throughout the modern world. Before the birth of jesus, the Council of Nicea,

Greece,or Rome. The woman gave birth to the son and the MAN place his semen/DNA there inside the women

inorder for this child to be born. Give the children of the most high back their divinity, peace and humanity back.

Teach African History in all schools thoughout this European dominated mindset process. Anyone want to go to

the field of reeds with Ra (Light of the world) and his followers? Light being/the wrapped ones. Knowledge is

needed to know THY SELF. BE AWARE OF FALSE TEACHING AND ASK MORE QUESTIONS LOVED ONES. HOTEP

Good day to all. Can I make a simple comment here?
What does a book that ascribes itself to being Inspired have as a credential, to be the Living word of God?
Would it have , as an element, Essentially, Prophecy?
I imagine that this would be a 'Stand Alone' element that would distinguish it from all other so-called inspired books.
Recall the Apostle Peter's comment (under inspiration) when he said " For YOU know this first, that no prophecy of Scripture springs from any private interpretation. For prophecy was at no time brought by man’s will, but men spoke from God as they were borne along by holy spirit." 2Pet. 1:20
That being the case,I ask: What Prophecy does the Qu'ran offer that can brand it as the Word of God? I cannot supply one. However I can do so with the Bible. I put forward: Isa. 44:24, 27, 28; 45:1-4 as an example.
Fulfillment: Cyrus hadn't been born when the prophecy was written. The Jews wern't taken into exile to Babylon until 617-607 B.C.E., and Jerusalem and its temple were not destroyed until 607 B.C.E. In DETAIL the prophecy was fulfilled starting in 539 B.C.E. when Cyrus diverted the waters of the Euphrates River.
The river gates of Babylon were carelessly left open during feasting in the city, and Babylon fell to the Medes and Persians under him. Thereafter, Cyrus liberated the Jewish exiles and sent them back to Jerusalem with instructions to rebuild Jehovah’s temple. All of which can be seen in the above cited verses supplied.

Another, Jer. 49:17, 18: “‘Edom must become an object of astonishment. Everyone passing along by her will stare in astonishment and whistle on account of all her plagues. Just as in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and her neighbor towns,’ Jehovah has said, ‘no man will dwell there.’” Did this actually occur? You can read for yourself here:The New Funk & Wagnalls Encyclopedia, 1952, Vol. 11, p. 4114
"..After the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans in 70 A.D. . . . the name Edom disappeared from history.” Notice that the fulfillment extends down to our day. In no way can it be argued that this prophecy was written after the events had taken place.
I have provided simply two examples of Prophecy from The Bible. These examples can be attested to as we PERSONALLY see the fulfilments. So, again I ask:"Does such prophecy exist in the Qu'ran? If there is no such evidence of prophecy, one would have to conclude that it is NOT inspired.

Lamlon: Please don't misquote me  I said:  " Why, even Jesus HAS a God -like we all have. Jesus said so at 1 Cor. 15 Read from verse 4 to the end."

If you HAD read those verses esp. verses 24-28 you would have seen my point, that Jesus HAS a God.

On the other matter regarding 'spurious verses' the fact is that people have tried to do just that-- add, and/or, subtract words to the inspired text.I'm speaking about an interesting  comment of  textual critic F. H. A. Scrivener  made some time ago,he said, in part, .. “We need not hesitate to declare our conviction that the disputed words were not written by St. John: that they were originally brought into Latin copies in Africa from the margin, where they had been placed as a pious and orthodox gloss on ver. 8: that from the Latin they crept into two or three late Greek codices, and thence into the printed Greek text, a place to which they had no rightful claim.”—A Plain Introduction to the Criticism of the New Testament (Cambridge, 1883, third ed.), p. 654. This person is an authority and does not speak simply through his mouth as it were.Yet, he makes the point that 1 John 5:8 is Spurious and when you examine the other 100's of Bibles you see that it does not belong in the Original Texts.
