How to add your fans numbers in twitter?

Hi all,

I am a freshman in twitter and a rookie designer in website.

Now i work at a Chinese school in shanghai, this school that teach people Chinese language from all over the world and by the way i am not a teacher.

I play twitter for 2 weeks and just add some movie stars and i want to make more friends not stars but what can i do?

If you know some tips and let me know!
