What's the Difference between a Group and a Team?

Their activities. A group is just that, e.g. a standing herd of cows; but a team works together to achieve a certain goal (literally a goal in the case of football!).

The difference as i see it is like the difference between a mouse and an interface, where in a group you can share your thoughts, feelings. feed back for benefit or no benefit, while Team is usually for a benefit. but the over all assessment is there is no difference at all when the Goal for the group or a team is set.
