i lived with my grandmother for over 30 years and never been told she has a brother who left for England over 45 years ago. He visited the Gambia one day as friendly as ever.

My Dad died, then my grandma, whom is his mum died. The brother of my grandma was able to acquire the land's title deed in his name in a secret court proceeding as his lawyer says they anounced the court proceeding once in a public newspaper. All structures at the home was built by my dad. so called Grandpa said the home was owned by his mother and if my grandma died he is the sole owner.

The question is.

DO I HAVE SOMETHING TO CLAIM AS BENEFICIARY AS FEW LAWYERS SAY MY DAD DID NOT INHERIT MY GRANDMA SO I CANNOT INHERIT DIRECTLY FROM MY GRANDMA'S SHARE. How true or currupt is that STATEMENT FROM THESE LAWYERS and can i appeal after 15 years now?
