the last day is saturday according to the generally accepted calenda but according ot me the last day is the day before the day you started numbering your days
Well, the question which must be answered first is this. The last day of which calendar ?. For truth to prevail, I believe only in the bible. I say this because I believe its the creators instruction to the created. Hence, to determine the last day we have to refer to the creators calendar which is mentioned in Genesis 1:14 and the last day of the week is there and definitely not Saturday or Sunday. The ctreators calendar will tell you to use the moon which will tell you the first day of a month and point you to the start of the week and the last day, which is the 7th day. May the Almighty Creator unfold what is blocking this TRUTH from one's mind. All the best....pl
If you believe that Almighty God created the universe as recorded in the first Book of the Bible then you have no other choice but one and that is to believe that the first day of the week is Sunday and therefore the last day is Saturday.
Here is my proof from the Old Testament Holy Scriptures in Exodus 34 verse 21: God says in it: work SIX days and rest on the seventh. In Exodus 16:13 it says that the people rested on the 7th day. Ever since this commandment was given by God, the people of God--the Hebrews--kept Saturday the 7th days as the rest day after six days of work. Thus, those who follow this rule even up to this day, they keep Saturday as the day of rest.
Can a Muslim person here explain how Friday became the day of rest and worship for in Islam, because up to the time of the Koran nobody knew of Friday as a holy day?
Friend if your a Christian or a Muslim recall both Bible and Quran! They tell the truth about the last and first day of the week.
In the Bible MATHEW 28:1-7 tells the first day of the week.
1After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.
2 There was a violent earthquake, for an angel of the Lord came down from heaven and, going to the tomb, rolled back the stone and sat on it.3 His appearance was like lightning, and his clothes were white as snow.4 The guards were so afraid of him that they shook and became like dead men.
5 The angel said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.6 He is not here; he has risen, just as he said. Come and see the place where he lay.7 Then go quickly and tell his disciples: ‘He has risen from the dead and is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him.’ Now I have told you.”
HENCE SUNDAY IS THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK;JESUS RAISED FROM DEAD ON SUNDAY MORNING.
