There is absolutely nothing wrong with x-dressing. I work in the film and theatre industry and know many guys who wear make-up (especially at night), choose shoes with a slimmer, higher heel, wear soft flowing shirts and to us, it's perfectly normal.
I guess the secret in the success of it is in how YOU feel about it, about yourself (whether you really do think it's wrong or simply responding to societal norms) and most importantly - how you carry it off. If you truly would like to wear more feminine attire publicly, then take some time to think about how you may feel about it in the future looking back and if you feel "what the hell, who am I hurting", then there is no earthly reason why you should not BE U.
I am a hetero***ual female and i would have no problem with it, although it may take me a little time to be confident enough to be publicly viewed with a partner that general society may regard as odd. Odd is good. Uniqueness should be treasured and nurtured.
My dad always said "to thine own self be true". Good luck!
PS: Eddie Izzard does it and is adored and desired by many hot chicks.
Suzibear64 Your a Diamond !!!!! What a lovely reply, and thank you so so much. I cant say I carry the whole feminine side off well, im built more like Alex Reed than a Katie Price unfortunatley, but he seems to get away with it too. Its more about the choice of clothes for women is nicer and feels nice on too. I hope you keep posting replys as you seem to be on my wave length. Where do you live? are you in UK? I dont think crossdressing has become accepted here as some european countrys.
Im not sure if you tried it as a first timer or if you have been crossdressing for a while, but the feeling is just great and liberating. Did you try it outdoors yet?
men and women are different, that's why the general culture divided into 2 : male and female. it just too funny if a man wearing high heel, place something in its belong. dont push something that do not fit, be normal !!!
its not illegal to put ya high heels on and go out in them,or a dress for that matter...SO..go for it..whatever ya feel comfortable doing as long as its not illegal whats the prob....but ya might get a few odd looks and remarks...but hey...?
Well it seems to be still a very much divided response, So Bobby Shake, I guess that you would object to see a beautiful woman in a Suit and a shirt and tie and a pair of high heels? A lot of business women dress like it, so if I went out wearing a suit and shirt and tie with a pair of heels ,whats the difference? A woman wears a mans suit, a man wears womans shoes. Suzibear, once again THANK YOU,wonderfull reply, you sound like you have a wonderful job and live in SA, fantastic. When your out and about in town, do you see men wearing womens clothes head to toe or do they wear say mens shirt, womens jeans n heels? I am from the uk, and some citys have bars, clubs or small areas like a street with bars on it, which are GLTs friendly, I have been and its so friendly, I was dressed as a man as I stumbled across the area in Manchester Uk, If I go again I might pluck up the courage to be daring and wear something else. What would you suggest suzibear?? Bearing in mind im more a Alex Read type not Katie Price. I used to get jelous of how he had the guts to go out in a basque, I think that's the look I need for my first outing, Nice jeans, Low heels and a basque or bodysuit, and a casual blazer style jacket, so its a glimpse of difference. Any ideas SuzieBear,??
As erotic or enticing (or plain comfortable, but how in the world can cross dressing be considered convenient for Men?) as they may seem to be, the act may also not be perceived as constructive by society ye? It veritably defeats the purpose of fitting in a non-cross dressing community, that is to my understanding, sadly, the overwhelming and burgeoning majority in all known sects today. I could be wrong in the latter, terribly at that, (I am surrounded by a rather terse, traditional Asian society(s) but my solution is based on this assumption.
Now when the (authentic) female gender does subscribe to clothing of the opposite ***, it is for basic need which is fundamentally the requirement of avoiding immorality such as trudging in the nude for a possible lack of female clothing, or convenience where "extravagant" surface area(s) in Female clothing (that can get quite annoyingly in the way) can be overcome by Male clothing that is "very much to the point" or to address a possibly staggered need, for the most b**** need of not instigating "communal-flux" through wearing such clothing (which is really/inherently a female fantasy of cross dressing - ironically dressed in deceiving and oblivious naivete).
Similarly, when a (authentic) Male cross dresses as such, it defeats every one of the above mentioned possibilities that can be purported for this dissimilar situation - with only a weak but significant exception in the latter, in that communal-flux (or disturbances to view of morality) or attention is what Males acquiesce, inadvertently. This is because of the lack of any constructive purpose in cross dressing other than to seek attention, be it erotic or contemptuous attraction.
(A least addressed premise with the regards to the latter is "cross dressing in private" which is purely complementary towards personal saisfaction and spiritual well being. This can be viewed as valuably constructive by all means.)
So now that we've established the premise your model deals with, the answer to your question? "It will indeed be possible when "perversion" for everyone in the World, becomes a walk in the park. Or strange becomes just another rainy day. Or doing things out-of-the-ordinary becomes the norm for a qualitative life on planet Earth.
