Hi! My baby was diagnosed with mild bilateral ventriculmegaly during my 20 week sonography. We have been running several sonography tests to check whether the condition is the same or progressing. While all tests maintained that the conditition is not pregressing, the pediatricians also confirmed that this is not a cause for concern and we will only follow up regularly. My baby is now 3 months and a follow up MRI has given the following results

Subdural effusion of 9 mm thickness in the frontal right side

While the ventricles are still mildly dilated, there are no other anamolies observed.

I will be meeting the pediatrician on Friday but am very anxious and looking for some information. If anyone knows about this condition, please do reply.

Thanks!
