My broken alternator is 14volts, 140amps, can I replace it with a 12volts, 125amps without getting any problem?

Some one told me that 12-volt systems charges at 14~14.7volts and that 120amps will be more than enough to power my Chevy Venture 2003 LT on stock/standard electronics load. What do you think?

OK you will not have any problems changing your alternator if you can make it fit and connect it propperly.

a 2volts difference is a small difference,it wont get any problem at all as long as it fits your mountings
