the constitution is a body of collected rules and regulation written and some not written also legal and some extra legal which act to share of course political portfolios of any state. the laws will be used to put the people which constitutes the electorates in order to obey the said government, and for them to know the privileges they stand to enjoy as citizens of the state and their rights and of course their obligations too. with this few reasons, it becomes important to say that without disregard to points raised above like promulgation law, the ultimate source of legitimacy for any constitution is the acceptance of the people that will base their whole existence on it. if they see it as extra judicial they will revolt and we know what that can do to any society.
