self runninf generator

hi everyone

i want to know if someone hase made experience to run an alternator of generator from an external ac motor by help of pully or engaged shaft of bot motor and alternators with each other.

i have seen some videos on you tube ragarding this experiment, purpose behind this to step up wattage of ac output and to use the system during cut off electricity.

Hello Asim

I have tried a lot of models, the only one I did not try yet is this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jih_ino2LDo there are simplier models as well but I could not find them right now. So far I had no success but I know for sure that there has to be a way, and that we, the common people, have to search for it, because the big science is not going to do it. They are all managed by the industry (money money money)
