Baptism has been adopted into, but not translated. If it had been translated; should read as dipped into OR placed into. Baptism does not mean anything. Actually when Jesus Christ was baptised in water, He identified with the people there. Even the sprinkling has nothing to do with identification. Anyone (male or female) when identify with Christ Jesus by FAITH (BY THOUGHT, PURPOSE AND ACTION (CONFESSION)) in HIS death and RESURRECTION; he/she is saved from the SIN and sins and its consequences. That is to say that person has been saved eternally by the finished work of CHRIST JESUS on the cross. Baptism is simply an sacrament or ordinance which needs to be observed in the local Churches. It is simply an external observance. A SOUL (which is often interpreted as LIFE) or PERSONALITY is otherwise THOUGHT (MIND) PURPOSE (WILL) ACTION (EMOTION) must properly identify with Christ Jesus for forgiveness and ultimate salvation. That is expressed in FAITH (believing).

Salvation is FREE GIFE by GRACE through FAITH in Christ Jesus.

The was posted by me earlier.

Now in BAPTISM, we need to consider THREE things

  1. ELEMENT (In the literal ACT of Baptism - WATER)
  2. BAPTISER (The person who dip the believer or a repentant)
  3. BAPTISSAND (Let us consider here the repentant or the believer who has place the trust in Christ Jesus' finished work appropriately

Baptism in the Bible is seen in various aspects

  • Literal Baptism
  • Symbolic Baptism
  • Spiritual Baptism

Let us take a p***age now from the Scripture as follows:

1Cor 10:1-2 Moreover, brethren, I would not that ye should be ignorant, how that all our fathers were under the cloud, and all p***ed through the seaAnd were all baptized unto Moses in the cloud and in the sea;

In the above p***age we find the people of Israel, Moses the leader and the invisible God with them

Now here:

  1. The Baptizer is God
  2. The Baptissand is the people of Israel
  3. The Element is a person (Moses), Moses represent the LAW

The entire Israel identified (baptised) with Moses and they are responsible to fulfill the requirements of LAW

Here we find a literal Baptism too

  1. Baptizer = God
  2. Element = Water (Red Sea)
  3. Baptissand = Pharoah's Army

Again in John 3:16

The greatest lover of mankind (God) has placed the entire mankind into HIS Son Christ Jesus when He sent Him into this world. That is what putting on flesh and blood means. Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

Here too I find the Baptism or Identification

  • Father God = Baptizer
  • Christ Jesus (Son) = Medium
  • The whole world = Adamic Race

The whole world represent the entire makind was placed into Christ Jesus who put on flesh and blood. In doing that He tasted the death on behalf of every human folk even the one who is yet to be born. Thus HE brought about salvation for the entire human race. But only those who personally receive Christ Jesus believing on HIS human birth (virgin) and vicarious death and resurrection by though, purpose and action shall finally be saved. Not everyone who undergo immersion baptism.

These days many are taking baptism, many are there to give baptism not knowing what it is. They think that the very baptism itself is salvation. It neither washes sins off nor bring about any purification. People are taking baptism for blessings sake, marriage sake, companion baptism is also there, together with friends. I have come accross a person who took immersion baptism to p*** his exam. At the end he started teaching baptism is salvation. It is Christ Jesus and He alone matters. Salvation glory belongs to HIM alone. Anyone who adds to SUCH salvation which is a free gift jeoperdize their eternal salvation.

 will continue God wiling...............
