Chemical weapons are designed to Kill, they are self explanatory,.. Chemical Weapons.

used to kill in masses (a lot of people) a Nasty weapon delivering a horrible death to many.

Unlike explosive weapons or bombs, the chemical weapon or bomb deploys chemicals like mustard gas or even cyanide based chemicals into an area which can linger around buildings bringing great harm to people for a long time.
