The work of all Myanmar Emmanuel Ministries started with the vision which the Lord has given to a man Joseph. Joseph was born in the Chin state-Myanmar in1975,the forth brother of his twelve brothers. Joseph was poor family background. Nevertheless God called him from his trouble and puts His faithfulness in Joseph life. When God called him, his parents sent him to Acts Bible School in Yangon for training. After he has finished four year B.Th course, he served the Lord at a church by being Pastor. After a few years passed he went to India for study Bible again and he came back to his mother land for starting his work.

When he came to Kalay City with three orphans, they were in homeless for a few Months. After six Months passed suddenly some heathen stoned them at their renting home during prayer. But by the protection of God no body was harmful by it. By the time Joseph began Mission Bible School with 7 students of Christians. The Lord is faithful and He did not permit his step to fall because He has many peoples to be saved and to be His disciples whom are being sent into His harvest in Myanmar.

Please join with us by prayer for many people to be rescued, saved and sent the laborers/missionaries into His harvest fields in Myanmar.

Remember there are 50,670,000 populations in Myanmar(Burma)Total people Groups 142, Unreached people Group 60%.

Through American missionaries
Judson D.D was the first missionary who came from America to our country Myanmar(Burma). At that time a few peoples received his preaching and he was died on the sea after 15 years passed.He could bring the light of the Gospel to just the Burmese.

After he died,the Lord sent Carson and Laura from America toward the Chin state.At that time all the Chin peoples have never never heard the Gospel and they all worshiped tree and stone and they have sacrificed before it by hen and pig.They have had often festival for worshiping stone and tree with dancing and drinking alcohol.At that time tow Americans brought the light of the Gospel to the Chin people and they accepted it.

Most of Myanmar people are Buddhism. Over 80% of the Myanmar people practice Theravada Buddhism which is to be also found flourishing in Myanmar neighboring countries like Cambodia, Laos, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

Emmanuel Ministries Myanmar is a Christ-centered ministry committed to His great Commission that Go and make the disciples of all the nations and proclaiming the Good News to the poor in the spirit and rescuing the perishing orphans and comforting the oppressed prisoners and victims by the Gospel. We have been called to offer our lives to His great Commission and serve Him into His harvest.
