I googled the word ,,,Atheist,, before getting this site..At near my nineties I thought I would see if I was one of the people who would change their mind as the end is getting near...

I dont think so,  I would like to hear about other, serious minded, Atheists.    I do not believe in an almighty, kind, loving God... though would not try to 'convert' others.

How I would very much like to believe,, then think of the eternal pleas for money, for the starving children, the ill used animals, the countries who are ever ready to drop bigger and bigger bombs on other countries.    Some times we have a lovely moment, we hear that a person has done some thing really good,  wonderful, but are we not a bit suprised?,  fancy them doing that, do they have an ulterio motive we wonder   

We seem to accept that  ''im down the road'' has been done for robbery much easier to accept.  I remember that when my first baby had arrived, late, before going home I had to go to the hospital chapel to be 'churched' before I was supposed to go into other peoples homes, I had to ask forgiveness for the sin of having a child, well, I think that is what it was about, or was it to be forgiven for having ***.

Other peoples opinions would be read and thought about seriously, so if you would like to tell me them , would be grateful, whether you agree or not.. Thank you. Beth
