please can someone help I have a 6 month hold kitten she weighs under 2lb in weight she is wasting away getting weaker by the day ive been back and forth to vets they put her on gastro intestinal food 2 pouches a aday but she was still hungry and suffered terrible with upset tummy we have had her wormed and fleed regularly the cet has now decided to give her b12 injections has blood test showed this up has a deficiency I have changed her food to whiskers wet food which now she has stopped having an upset tummy but we still cant get her weight up she is no longer crying of hunger but is really week and has no energy what can I do to boost her up can anybody give me some advice asap please before I lose her

You can try human food, like cooked meat: Beef? Chicken? It'll make her fur better too :P! But DONT give her sausages, like the kind that oily chinese kind that humans eat right out of the plastic, it contains some stuff that the pet vets say are really unhealthy for animals. I know that the meat will definately fatten her up a bit, and quite quickly. But after she's back to a healthy cat's weight standards, you should start giving her normal cat food again so she doesn't get hooked into the human good stuff and will stop eating the cat food completely.
