wrestling, boxing etc are not evil since they are classified under sport. these sports are fun for most fun lovers as they give pleasure, excitement and entertainment. Above all they are not evil because they are not staged or ogranised with the intent of causing harm or injury.
I, as a child used to be horriffied by these sports, as seen on tv.
Now, i still agree largely with my thoughts as a child, but i also appreciate like what you said, to be true too.
But it still seems to sometimes be the main goal of some players/fighters to achieve their aims of winning, by hurting the other person i.e. also via causing injury, even serious injury if necesary.
Some say it is only fake aggresion but that accidents can always happen.
But it is still very far from what i consider OK, but since it is mutual, it's perhaps up to them.
Some wrestlers i would say are not right, e.g. Brock Lesnar e.g. breaking arms.
But even that, despite how disgusted i was when i first saw it, i now saw some of the story line, i mean, not only story, but real story, in that he had a terrible greivance towards triple H,
whom he felt was unjust.
Now i see that triple H is not that wonderful a character either, how he suddenly smashed Daniel Bryans head on the ground, which looks like a certain death blow for a normal person, etc. the rest of the story which many people also hate and that is why it is done, as it is "good for business". Well. since DB doesn't seem to be injujred by any of it, maybe it's not that bad, and only part of the game?
I don't know!
This is often combined with using the vulnerability of a friend to get at him to hurt him, when he would never suspect it. This seems highly evil, e.g. like Eddie Guerero towards Rey mysterio, when it began.
