Photorejuvenation of the face

At our clinic we have been using a laser treatment to remove benign skin outgrowths and wrinkles, especially on the forehead, around the eyes and mouth. In the combination with Botox the results last longer.

In the recent years we have been paying more attention to photorejuvenation with lasers.  The main reason for that is the fact that people have less and less time for post-surgical recovery, which calls for effective procedures that leave minimal traces on the face.

Photorejuvenation is a process which has, performed through a series of repetitions, been proven to tone the skin and consequently give it a youthful look. In case of face rejuvenation the laser light indirectly encourages the functioning of the cells that are responsible for production of collagen fibres and intercellular proteins and that also have an inhibitory impact on the enzymes that disintegrate collagen.  The final effect is a toned, smooth skin. The effects start showing 3-4 months after the laser treatment. We recommend 10 treatments. The effect after the last rejuvenation lasts for at least a year. We recommend maintenance treatments once a month.
