Liposuction is the pumping out fat from the following parts of the body:
double chin,
abdomen,
hips,
thighs,
knees,
shank etc.
This is not a method that substitutes losing weight since only 2000ml of fat can be pumped out with liposuction in the parts where it is impossible to lose weight with diets and physical activity. The body is being put in shape in this way. Therefore, it is shaping of the body and not weight reduction, nor is it repairing the appearance of the skin surface. Just the opposite, the skin may be loose for some time after the operation which depends on the quantity of fat taken in a specific part, on the skin's elasticity and patient's age. This is particularly visible on the inner and outer side of the thighs if the patient insists that all the fat be pumped out despite our warning. From one to two cm of subcutical fatness (depending on the area of the body and anatomical conditions of the patient) has to be left in liposuction. In case the patient wants to have this area made thinner too, he or she is made aware about the possibility of uneven skin surface.
