Leadership has to be nurtured.  According to BF Skinner if you control the environment you can form the person.  This is called "Behaviorism".  This is what is taught on TV and in movies.  It is what governments believe in.

On the other side you have Maslow and his "Hierarchy of Needs" and Viktor Frankel who wrote "Man's Search for Meaning".  This represents the "Humanistic" School of Psychology.  Both these approaches recognize that man's potential goes beyond genetics.

Those who think that greatness is born are geneticist who think that everyone is locked into their genes and that people are animals with higher functioning brains.  Now it is becoming known through Epigenetics that genes can be turned off and on like switches.  This would explain why the people are being poisoned through food, water, and air so that their minds can be manipulated with cell phones, wifi, digital Tv and electromagnetic weapons.  This is an attempt to turn certain genes on and off thus controlling the billions of people on earth.

Still it is an admission that zombies or leaders are made not born.
