I am a first time mom and my son is uncercomsized. I have heard so many things about it and I am not for sure what to believe so please help.

It is a barbaric cultural practice and is undoubtedly an assault on the child - at a time of his life when he cannot object. Also, there have been deaths due to poor observance of hygiene - usually when a religious official has carried out the operation.

The foreskin has a purpose, and it is arrogance to imagine that one knows better than nature. Only rarely does a case occur when a doctor sees reason to remove it.

greetings my friends, In a common sense approach it is common for us to think in this manner, simply because it make sense in normal rejections, but it was and still is a practise by the Jewish people over the ages, and what it represents is, it was ordained by God for him to relate to his chosen people by reason of a physical act which was to be a sign of a covenant between him and his chosen, and in normal life to be cercomized or not,is not a required act to be considered.[just to add total care was given and also the way to perform it to avoid what we imagine as painful, was given.] LOVE AND PEACE
