Hi there, Hopefully you are doing well. okay, ur question is really big,,and the answer may need us to go back to so many books and encyclopedias. iam still working on my MA in literature so iamnot good enough to answer ,yet i wished i could help alittle. Criticisim is to criticize a work of literature : what is this work about? what is the aim of this work? does it reach its goal? if yes ,then how? if no,then why? New Criticism ,for example, only cares about the text. so to make a NC , you just need to make a close reading, i.e to look for images, paradoxes and what combines these paradoxes all together. Russian Formalism(RF) also cares about the text. Feminist criticism studies and advocates the rights of women. Judith Fetterly said:" feminist criticism is a political act whose aim isnot simply to interpret the world but to change it by changing the consciousness of those who read and their relation to what they read." Feminist criticism may also involve reevaluting feminist writers. feminists are not women only, but there are many great male writers who are considered as feminists such as Ibsen( ADoll's House). iamnot sure if this helps, but if you tried to ask about each topic individually ,,i may help alittle. wish you all the best.Thanks. Regards, Sky
