Diabetes is one of most dangerous chronic disease anybody can easily develop without him or her knowing it ,if he or she get tested and discover early good luck to such a person but a good number of people never no until it gets out hands and if not properly maintained and treated it comes with 1,hypertension,2,blindness,3,lost of manhood,4,kidney failure,5,unhealed wound which may lead to cut of arm or leg etc.

Yes! You are correct but rather than testing for how fast sugar is metabolized by the body perhaps it should be standard practice to test for the amount of insulin in the blood. As you know there are 3 kinds of Diabetes. Type 1 which is where the body does not produce sufficient insulin; Type 2 where the body produces an abundance of insulin but the body does not listen to insulin so the body produces increasing amounts to no avail; Type 3 which is known as Alzheimers.
Sugar explodes in the body. It literally explodes and does damage. In the brain this damage can be devastating as well as in other parts of the body. But by far Type 2 Diabetes is the major problem and growing worldwide. The body makes the hormone called insulin in an attempt to metabolize this dangerous substance called sugar. However, the amount of sugar we consume nowadays is way above the amount of sugar mankind evolved to consume.
There are many substances which contain sugars including wheat, flour, grains, corn products, fruits, starches, rice, potatoes, pasta, breads, beer, etc. Plus now we have additives known as high fructose corn syrup or what is now called corn syrup and other things. Even sugar free is dangerous containing the waste products of bacteria. It is called Apartame or Amino Sweet. Manufacturers add sugar to foods in order to turn off the satiety mechanism or so that the brain does not know when to stop eating. Further, many manufactured foods are designed to be habit forming. If you look around the world you will see along with exploding rates of Cancer, High Blood Pressure, Heart Disease and other diseases is obesity. People are becoming fat because they eat too many calories.
When the body is craving sweets the brain has been "hard wired" to seek proteins. In an attempt to find protein the building blocks of life sugar and hidden sugars which can be easily manufactured and manipulated are placed in front of you. You can not help but buy the snacks, drinks, crisps, fries, etc. The was to manage sugar cravings are: 1. Eat protein. By far the best protein to consume is whey protein without additives; 2. Give the body the 90+ essential nutrients in the form of vitamins and minerals. This is almost impossible to find in supermarket food. You will have to supplement your diet with high quality supplements that are in the correct form and in the right amounts. If you have digestive problems they will have to be corrected so that you can absorb the nutrition; 3. Stay away from manufactured artificial foods and avoid foods which trigger digestive disorders.
But back to Diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes happens when the receptors on the cell membranes have been corrupted by the foods you have been eating. No matter how much insulin your body produces they can not be received because the receptors have been blocked; like trying to put a key into a jammed keyhole. Not only is this a problem but insulin is a growth hormone. It makes cells grow uncontrollably. This uncontrolled cell growth is the cause of many diseases like Cancer, hypertension, heart disease, inflammation, etc.
Several of my family members have died because of Type 2 Diabetes including my own father. The fact is you need to know that you are pre-diabetic before you are a diabetic. The problem is that although your blood sugar may test in the range that is considered negative for Diabetes you are still at risk. Your doctor will tell you that you do not have diabetes until the blood sugar reaches the level that is considered Diabetic. At that point he will want to prescribe all sorts of dangerous medications that actually make things worse and will lead to an early death as in my father's case.
This approach to Diabetes is not reasonable. It allows you to continue the destructive behavior thinking that you are ok and have no Diabetes to worry about. Your doctor has put you to sleep. Wake up! You must consider that you are in a pre-diabetic state. As such you must stop eating those dangerous foods. You must never eat foods that are processed or manufactured. You must eat organically grown foods. You must drink at least 2 liters of clean distilled water per day hopefully not from a plastic bottle which contains chemicals. You must breathe deeply several times per day through the nose and from the belly slowly. You must go for a walk every day. Get at least 15 minutes of direct Sunlight or Sun lamp daily. And you must correctly supplement. Eat fermented foods like yogurt, kefir, sauerkraut, kimchi. Lots of green vegetables and bone soup. Finally, whey protein is the best protein for most people. You might also consider hemp protein. Soy protein is not good because it is usually heat processed and made from GMO crops.
