There are several reasons available.Personally i hidden my ip to avoid ip ban while playing any game.Through the VPN service i hidden my ip.After that i checked my new ip using http://www.ip-details.com/

becouse ip address is  in the form of number as like 100.23.12.11 so  i think its very complicated for always & i can't remember it

and then this ip address chenged in the alfabet and then  it's easy for all user..

To stop Google tracking me. If you use Google to search you will get answers based on your previous searches.

 

If you have no visible ip numbers then your answers will be pure, not based on previous searches.
