I wish to know how does a metal behave near its melting point.Can I use silver ingots & nickel powder in 80-20 ratio to mix & sinter in an induction machine at a temp of 940-950*c (Melting point of silver is 961*c).will itform a good mixed alloy,properly sintered to extrude wire after cooling.
